Quality
All firewood from Ved of Sweden is produced at our own factory in Rätan, Jämtland, using only Swedish raw materials.
Yes, we can pack firewood in your sacks provided the sacks are standard sizes of 30L or 40L and can be delivered to our factory in Jämtland. Send us a few firewood sacks and we will test if it works.
We dry the firewood in drying rooms heated by burning wood waste from the production. Water is heated in our wood boilers and distributed through pipes to different chambers where fans warm and circulate the air. The firewood dries for at least 5 days. The drying process is checked several times daily using digital temperature and humidity meters until the correct moisture level is reached. We then do spot checks on firewood logs and weigh entire crates to ensure the drying process is complete and correct. All birch firewood is dried to 15-20% moisture content.
Delivery
To receive a delivery, space is required for the truck to park and a wheel loader or other machine with pallet forks to unload the firewood pallets.
We can usually deliver within one week from receiving the order.
Yes, that is possible. If you arrange your own transport, you can pick up the firewood at the factory in Rätan. Otherwise, we have our own truck or good contacts with carriers who handle transport.
A Swedish long-haul truck (25+ meters) can carry 2,736 to 2,880 pieces of 40L firewood sacks, 76-80 EU pallets with 36 sacks per pallet. A truck to Norway holds somewhat fewer sacks, approximately between 2,100 and 2,500 sacks. A European trailer holds about 1,700 sacks.

Ved of Sweden delivers kiln-dried Swedish birch firewood of high and consistent quality, with lengths of about 30 cm, packaged in a practical, attractive, and well-filled 40L/15kg mesh bag. With this firewood sack, you will gain more returning satisfied firewood customers. With a stable production capacity, we can supply your stores and warehouses with dry birch firewood year-round. With us as your supplier, you won’t have to run out of firewood when customers come knocking.
For those of you who are new and want to start selling firewood, we recommend first reviewing your local market. How high is the demand for birch firewood in 40L sacks where you live? What are the prices? How will you market yourself? Storage of firewood, distribution to customers, can you combine home deliveries with store or farm sales, etc. Consider the pros and cons and your potential, but don’t forget to factor in risks such as theft, fire, and mold. The firewood should be stored in a well-ventilated covered area, safe from rain and moisture.

We invoice via Fortnox, so payment is made against invoice after delivery. For new customers, payment in advance is required for security reasons.
